How it works

How iRecrut works: from a WhatsApp message to a shortlist

You send the role you need on WhatsApp. iRecrut turns it into a job, filters and scores candidates from its database, and shows you the strongest matches within minutes. You shortlist, set up interviews and decide who to hire. Plans start at ₹199.

  1. 1

    Register and choose a plan

Start on WhatsApp ("Start hiring now") or on the website. You give your company name, city, your name and work email. Choose a plan and pay through Razorpay (UPI, card or net banking). A GST invoice is created automatically. Registering through the WhatsApp assistant also gives you job posting and updates on WhatsApp; a website sign-up works from the dashboard.

  2. 2

    Post the job

If you registered on WhatsApp, message the role the way you would tell a friend, for example "Sales officer in Surat, 1 year experience, ₹20,000 a month". The assistant turns it into a draft and asks "Post this job?". In the web dashboard you fill a short form, pin the job location on a map, and an AI button can write the job description for you.

  3. 3

    iRecrut finds and ranks candidates

First, a filter removes candidates who are clearly too far away or whose skills or field do not fit. Then a score from 0 to 100 ranks the rest, and an AI model reviews the strongest matches and gives its reasoning and any red flags. Nearby candidates rank first when you pin a location. Results usually appear within minutes in your dashboard; employers registered on WhatsApp also get a "Matching complete" message.

  4. 4

    Review and shortlist

Open the review queue in your dashboard (or on WhatsApp if you registered there). The dashboard shows matches scoring 70 and above by default, highest score first. Shortlist or reject each person. If you reject everyone you can see, the platform fetches the next batch of candidates.

  5. 5

    Schedule interviews

Pick a date and time. The candidate receives a WhatsApp invitation with Confirm, Reschedule and Decline buttons, and, once the candidate confirms, reminders usually go out 24 hours and 2 hours before. You can also open a WhatsApp chat with any shortlisted candidate in one tap.

  6. 6

    Hire

Mark the person as Hired. They get a congratulation message on WhatsApp and are taken off the available list, so their other applications are closed automatically.

What candidates experience

Candidates use WhatsApp. They share their name, skills, city and experience (about a minute) or send a CV. Candidates who have chatted with iRecrut get job alerts there and can tap “Interested” and say when they can join. They usually also receive status updates, interview invitations and reminders. They can reply STOP to stop job alerts and marketing messages.

What you see in your dashboard

  • Dashboard: what needs your attention today
  • Post a Job and My Jobs
  • Candidates: everyone moving through your pipeline
  • Find Talent: search the candidate database
  • WA Contacts: shortlisted people, one tap to WhatsApp
  • Analytics: matches, shortlist rate, days to shortlist
  • Plan & Billing: plans, payments and GST invoices

What iRecrut does not do

iRecrut does not guarantee a hire, interview candidates for you, or take a commission on the people you hire. It finds and ranks candidates and handles the messages, so you spend your time on the calls and interviews that matter. Whether a candidate is a good fit, accepts the salary and joins is up to you and the candidate.

FAQ

Questions about the process

What is iRecrut?+

iRecrut is a hiring platform for small and medium businesses in Surat and nearby cities. You tell it the role you need on WhatsApp or on the website, it finds and ranks matching candidates from its database of candidate profiles, and you shortlist, contact and interview the ones you like. iRecrut is a product of Glisto Infotech, Surat.

How do I get started?+

Tap "Start hiring on WhatsApp" and send the message that opens. The assistant asks your company name, city, your name and work email, then helps you choose a plan and pay. Or choose a plan on the pricing page and create your login on the website. After payment you can post your first job. It usually takes a few minutes.

Which cities does iRecrut cover?+

Our candidate database is largest in Surat. There are smaller pools in nearby Navsari, Bardoli and Bharuch, and profiles from other cities too, so results are best for Surat.

Can I use Gujarati or Hindi?+

You can write to the assistant in Gujarati, Hindi or English. Once you are registered, its chat replies follow the language of your first message. Menus, buttons and job cards are in English. Nine languages can be chosen in total: Gujarati, Hindi, English, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Bengali and Punjabi.

How do I post a job on WhatsApp?+

Register through the WhatsApp assistant, then send a message describing the role, for example "Sales officer in Surat, 1 year experience, ₹20,000 a month". The assistant turns it into a draft job card and asks "Post this job?". Confirm, and matching starts. If you signed up on the website instead, you post from the web dashboard, where an AI button can write the job description for you.

How are candidates matched and ranked?+

First, a filter removes candidates who are clearly too far away or whose skills or field do not fit. Then a score from 0 to 100 ranks the rest, and an AI model reviews the strongest matches in each batch and gives its reasoning and any red flags. You see the highest scores first; by default only scores of 70 and above are shown in your dashboard.

How long does matching take?+

Matching runs in the background and results usually appear within minutes of posting. You see them in your dashboard. If you registered through WhatsApp, you also get a "Matching complete" message there.

What if I get no matches?+

The dashboard tells you when a job has run out of candidates and suggests widening the location, skills or salary. You can edit the job and run matching again, or message us on WhatsApp for help.

How do I contact and interview candidates?+

Shortlist a candidate and their contact details appear in your dashboard, with a one-tap button to open a WhatsApp chat. To set up an interview, choose a date and time: the candidate is sent a WhatsApp invitation with Confirm, Reschedule and Decline buttons, and, once the candidate confirms, reminders usually go out 24 hours and 2 hours before. WhatsApp has its own rules for automatic messages, so a candidate who has not chatted with iRecrut recently may not receive them. Contact them yourself as well.
