Privacy Policy

iRecrut is a product by Glisto Infotech. Our platform is designed to be privacy-first — we collect only what is necessary, we protect it rigorously, and we never sell it.

1. Information We Collect

iRecrut collects information you provide directly — including employer account details, job descriptions submitted via WhatsApp, and candidate profiles uploaded or matched through our platform. We also collect limited usage data (such as feature interactions and session logs) to diagnose issues and improve our service. We do not collect biometric data, government-issued ID numbers, or financial payment details (billing is handled by our payment processor).

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to: operate and deliver the iRecrut platform; match candidates to job requirements using our proprietary matching engine; send shortlists and hiring notifications to employers via WhatsApp and email; improve our matching accuracy and platform performance; and communicate service updates, security notices, and product announcements. We do not use your data for advertising.

3. Data Isolation & Multi-Employer Privacy

Each employer's data — including job postings, candidate profiles, pipeline stages, and analytics — is stored in a completely isolated workspace. No employer can access, view, or influence another employer's data under any circumstances. This isolation is enforced at both the application and database levels.

4. Data Security

All data stored on iRecrut is encrypted at rest using AES-256 encryption. All data in transit is protected by TLS 1.3. We follow SOC 2 compliant architecture practices, in alignment with India's Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act 2023, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL). We conduct regular security audits and penetration tests to maintain these standards.

5. Candidate Data Rights

Candidates whose profiles are held within the iRecrut system have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of their personal data. Requests are processed within 30 days in accordance with applicable law. To exercise these rights, please contact us at privacy@irecrut.com. We will acknowledge your request within 48 hours of receipt.

6. Data Retention

Employer account data is retained for as long as the account remains active. Upon account deletion, all associated job postings, pipeline data, and employer details are permanently and irreversibly deleted within 30 calendar days. Candidate profiles are retained for 12 months from the date of last activity, after which they are automatically purged from our systems.

7. Third-Party Services

iRecrut integrates with the WhatsApp Business API (operated by Meta Platforms, Inc.), cloud hosting infrastructure, and anonymised analytics tools. These services are governed by their own privacy policies and are selected on the basis of their compliance with applicable data protection standards. We do not sell, rent, or trade your data — or any candidate data — to any third party, ever.

8. Cookies & Tracking

iRecrut uses session cookies strictly for authentication and platform functionality. We use anonymised analytics cookies to understand aggregate usage patterns and improve the product. We do not engage in cross-site tracking, fingerprinting, or behavioural advertising. You may disable non-essential cookies at any time through your browser settings; this will not affect your ability to use the platform.

9. Children's Privacy

iRecrut is a business platform intended solely for use by employers, staffing professionals, and adult job seekers. We do not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under the age of 18. If you believe a minor's data has been submitted in error, please contact us immediately at privacy@irecrut.com and we will remove it promptly.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in law, technology, or our business practices. When we make material changes, we will notify active account holders by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. The updated policy will also be published on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of iRecrut after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
