iRecrut features for small businesses
iRecrut lets a small business post a job on WhatsApp or on a web dashboard, get ranked candidate matches with reasons, track candidates from shortlist to hired, schedule interviews with WhatsApp invitations and search the candidate database. It also gives you a career page, analytics and a GST invoice for every payment. It does not guarantee a hire and takes no commission.

Two ways to use iRecrut: the WhatsApp assistant or the web dashboard
iRecrut is a hiring tool for owners and managers who hire without an HR team. You can start in two ways. In the first, you message "Start hiring now" to the iRecrut WhatsApp assistant at +91 95127 33360. The assistant asks for your company name, city, your name and your work email, then helps you choose a plan and pay. In the second, you create a login on the website pricing page, pay, and post jobs from the web dashboard.
The way you start decides where some features work. Posting a job by message, "matching complete" messages and the invoice copy on WhatsApp are for employers who registered through the WhatsApp assistant. Website sign-ups do not get WhatsApp posting or alerts automatically, and use the web dashboard instead. Employers who start on WhatsApp also receive a sign-in link for the web dashboard, so they can use both.
The table shows where each feature lives. The sections below explain what you do, what you get and the honest limits.
| Feature | Where you use it | Good to know |
|---|---|---|
| Post a job | WhatsApp assistant or web dashboard | Posting by WhatsApp message needs a registration through the assistant |
| Matching and ranking with reasons | Results in the web dashboard, and a WhatsApp review for employers registered there | Runs in the background and usually finishes within minutes |
| Nearby candidates | Web dashboard | On-site jobs, when there are candidates to list, and a map pin on the job gives the most accurate results |
| Review queue and pipeline stages | Web dashboard, with Shortlist, Interview and Reject buttons on WhatsApp too | Five stages with notes |
| Interview scheduling | Web dashboard or WhatsApp | The invitation goes to the candidate on WhatsApp, sometimes in a shorter form |
| Find Talent search | Web dashboard | Names stay hidden until you unlock a profile |
| Public career page | Set up in Company Profile on the web dashboard | Starts working after your company account is approved |
| Analytics | Web dashboard, and a short My Stats summary on WhatsApp | Match totals include matches below the default level, and the shortlist figures count only people now at Shortlisted |
| Job share card image | Web dashboard | An AI-made image for you to post yourself |
| Payments and GST invoice | WhatsApp or web dashboard | The invoice is always in Plan & Billing, and a copy goes to WhatsApp only if you registered there |
How do I post a job on iRecrut?
On WhatsApp, send one message with the role, for example "Sales officer in Surat, 1 year experience, salary in rupees". The assistant turns it into a draft job card in English and asks "Post this job?" with Post it and Change buttons. You can also send a job description as a PDF, Word file or photo, and the assistant reads it and shows you a preview.
On the web dashboard, open Post a Job and fill in the form: title, category, skills, years of experience, work location, timings, working days and compensation. The AI Generate Description button writes the job description from those fields and your company profile, and you can edit the text. You set the job location by searching an address, dropping a pin on the map or using your own location. Clone from Past Job copies an earlier job so you do not retype it.
- What you get: a live job with a public link you can share (the link works once your company account is approved), and matching that starts after you post.
- Each posted job uses one job post from your plan. If posting is blocked, you see the reason and the plans.
- Limit: the AI draft is a starting point, so it is worth reading it and correcting the salary, hours and area before you post.
How does iRecrut match and rank candidates?
Matching runs in the background after you post, and results usually appear within minutes. First, a filter removes candidates who are clearly too far away for an on-site job, clearly missing key skills, or in a different field. A quick rule-based score puts the remaining candidates in order. The strongest, about 20 per batch, are analysed in depth and an AI model gives their final score with reasons and red flags. If the AI is unavailable, the rule-based score and a simpler explanation are shown. The dashboard shows matches of 70 and above by default, highest first.
If you reject everyone you can see, the platform fetches the next batch, up to 10 more batches. If the pool of suitable people runs out, the dashboard tells you, and widening the location or the skills can help. If you change the job, Re-run Matching on the job page starts again from the first batch. Re-run Matching follows the same plan rules as posting, so it can be refused when your job posts are used up or the plan has ended.
The candidates are profiles in the iRecrut database. Many were imported from CVs and job sites, and some registered on WhatsApp. They are not all actively looking for work, so a strong match on paper may not reply. The reasons and red flags are worth reading as well as the score, because the score is a guide and the decision is yours.
Can iRecrut find candidates near my shop or office?
Yes, when you set the job location. On the web form you can search an address, drop a pin or use your location, and a button fills in your company address. A pinned location makes nearby candidates rank first. Without a pin, the platform works from the address text, which is less precise.
On-site jobs show a Nearby tab when there are candidates to list: up to 25 people with some relevant skills, within 75 km of the pin (or in the same city if there is no pin). Remote jobs have no Nearby tab and match candidates from anywhere. Distance often matters for the daily journey, so an exact location is worth the extra minute it takes.
How do I review candidates and track them to a hire?
The dashboard review queue lists the highest-scoring matches you have not looked at yet, with Shortlist and Reject buttons. Each match card shows the score, the reasons and any red flags. On WhatsApp, the assistant shows one candidate at a time with Shortlist, Interview and Reject buttons, and a button to send the CV when one is on file.
Shortlisted candidates move into the pipeline. The pipeline has five stages: Interested, Shortlisted, Interview, Hired and Rejected. You can add notes to record what was said. The Candidates page lists everyone across all your jobs, with stage filters, and lets you shortlist or reject several people at once. Marking someone Hired closes that person's other applications on iRecrut.
- Limit: on the web match cards, Shortlist and Reject record your choice but do not send the candidate a message. You contact shortlisted people yourself.
- The WA Contacts page lists the people who are currently at Shortlisted, with phone, email and two ways to message them. People you have moved on to Interview or Hired no longer appear in that list.
- The Send WA button sends from the iRecrut number, and WhatsApp's 24-hour rule applies: the message is delivered only to people who wrote to the iRecrut number in the last 24 hours.
- The one-tap WhatsApp link opens your own WhatsApp, so you can write to the candidate from your own number whenever you like.
Can iRecrut schedule interviews and remind candidates?
Yes. You move a shortlisted candidate to Interview and set a date and time. On WhatsApp the assistant offers a list of upcoming slots, or you can type a time such as "Tomorrow 2pm". The candidate receives an interview invitation on WhatsApp with the job, company, date, time, mode and place. Candidates usually get Confirm, Reschedule and Decline buttons. If they have not messaged the iRecrut number in the last 24 hours, they may get a shorter message with a Confirm button. Reminders follow once they confirm. You are told when the candidate confirms, asks for another time or declines.
WhatsApp has its own rules about when a business may message someone, so an invitation may arrive in a shorter form and a message may not reach every candidate. Only the candidate's own number can answer the buttons. For an important interview, it helps to confirm with the candidate yourself as well. iRecrut schedules and reminds, and the interview itself is yours to run.
What is Find Talent, and when are names visible?
Find Talent searches the whole candidate database, including people who were never matched to your own jobs. You can search by words such as job title, skills, city or field, and narrow the results by location, years of experience, skill, domain and career level. Each result shows experience, field and top skills. Names are masked, and contact details and the CV stay hidden until you unlock a profile. Unlocking shows the real name, phone number, email and CV, and you can open an unlocked profile again whenever you like.
The Find Talent page shows your unlock allowance for your plan. Candidates already matched to your own jobs show their contact details without using an unlock. People already marked Hired do not appear in the search. A profile in the database is not an application. The person may not be looking, and has not applied to your job.
Does iRecrut give me a public career page?
Yes. Company Profile holds your logo, tagline, description and branding, and iRecrut builds a public career page for your jobs from it. Candidates can leave their details and CV on the page. The submission is added to the iRecrut candidate database and goes through normal matching, so check your matches for it. It is not sent to you as a separate email or application. Each job also has its own public link, which you can share on WhatsApp, LinkedIn or anywhere else.
The career page and the public job links start working after the iRecrut team has approved your company account. The platform may fill in some company details from public sources, so it is worth checking your profile and correcting anything that is wrong before you share the page.
What analytics does iRecrut show?
The Analytics page shows jobs posted, total matches, average match score, shortlist rate, average days to shortlist and total hired, with a 30 day chart of matches received. It also shows where applications came from, a breakdown by pipeline stage and a table for each job with days open, matches, shortlisted, interviews and hired. On WhatsApp, the My Stats option gives a short summary.
The match totals count every match, including those below the default level of 70, so they can be higher than the lists you see. The shortlist rate and the days to shortlist count the people who are currently at Shortlisted, so they can fall as people move on to Interview or Hired. Hired counts only the people you mark as Hired. The figures describe your own use of iRecrut and say nothing about hiring quality.
What is the job share card?
On the Boost Job page of a job, you can ask for an AI-made share card. It is an image card for the job, in landscape or square format, that you can post in your WhatsApp groups and on your social pages. The AI draws the background and the platform adds the text. The card also shows the job title, company name, location, experience range, pay if you entered it, up to four skills, a "We're hiring" badge, your logo and an "Apply via WhatsApp" line. Check these before sharing. The first card counts as one generation. After the first card you can regenerate once more while your boost request is pending or approved. AI-made images can contain mistakes, so the card deserves a careful look before you share it.
The card is an image for you to post yourself. It does not change how candidates are matched or ranked.
Which languages does iRecrut support?
On WhatsApp, you can write your job message in Gujarati, Hindi or English. Once you are registered, chat replies use the language of your first message until you change it. Menus, buttons and job cards stay in English. You can choose from nine languages by typing the word language: Gujarati, Hindi, English, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Bengali and Punjabi.
The draft job card is shown in English, so it is worth reading before you tap Post it. This matters most when the job message was in Gujarati or Hindi.
How do payments and GST invoices work?
iRecrut sells one-time plan packs. Each pack has a fixed validity and a set number of job posts, and the price includes GST. Plans start at ₹199. Current plans: Starter: ₹199 for 7 days with 1 job post; Booster: ₹299 for 28 days with 2 job posts; Pro iRecrut: ₹599 for 14 days with 4 job posts. You pay online through Razorpay using UPI, cards or net banking. On WhatsApp the assistant sends a payment link, and once the payment is confirmed your plan is active and the job you were posting continues without retyping. On the website you pay from Plan & Billing.
Every payment gets an automatic GST invoice. You can open it from the payment history in Plan & Billing and print it or save it as a PDF. If you registered on WhatsApp, a copy is also sent there. It helps to enter your legal name, GSTIN and state in Plan & Billing before you pay, because invoices already issued are not changed. Your chartered accountant can tell you how to use the invoice in your books. There is no commission on hires.
What iRecrut does not do
It is better to know the limits before you start. iRecrut is a hiring tool. You run the search and you make the hiring decisions.
- It does not guarantee a hire, a hiring speed, the quality of candidates or how long they stay.
- It does not interview candidates, and it does not verify their CVs, identity or past jobs. You do that.
- It does not make the hiring decision. Scores and reasons help you decide.
- It does not prepare appointment letters or other employment paperwork.
- It takes no commission on hires.
- It cannot make every candidate see your message, because WhatsApp has rules about automatic messages.
- Support is by WhatsApp at +91 95127 33360, and we do not take voice calls. Hours are in the site footer.
How to judge any hiring tool for your business
Whichever tool you use, a short check saves money and time. These points apply to any hiring tool, including ours.
- It lets you write your job message in the language you use every day.
- It tells you why a candidate matches, with reasons beside the number.
- It keeps every candidate and every stage in one place.
- It says plainly what it does not do.
- It makes clear what the price includes and whether any charge is added when you hire.
- Support reaches you in a way that suits you.
- Testing the tool on one real role, compared with your usual method, shows what it adds.
Common questions
What can a small business do with iRecrut?
You can post a job on WhatsApp or on a web dashboard, get ranked matches with reasons, shortlist and track candidates through stages, schedule interviews with WhatsApp invitations, search the candidate database, share a career page and see analytics. This page explains each feature and its limits.
Can I post jobs on WhatsApp if I signed up on the website?
Not automatically. WhatsApp posting, "matching complete" messages and the invoice copy on WhatsApp work for employers who registered through the iRecrut WhatsApp assistant. Website sign-ups use the web dashboard. If you are unsure which route suits you, ask on WhatsApp at +91 95127 33360.
Will candidates always receive my WhatsApp messages?
No. WhatsApp only lets a business send ordinary messages to people who wrote to the number in the last 24 hours, so automatic messages may not reach many candidates or may arrive in a shorter form, especially for imported profiles that have not messaged the iRecrut number recently. Candidates can also reply STOP to stop job alerts. You can contact shortlisted candidates yourself using the details in the dashboard.
Are candidate names visible in Find Talent?
No, names are masked until you unlock a profile. Until then each result shows experience, field and top skills, which is enough to decide whom to open. For example, after a search for showroom salespeople in Surat, you unlock only the profiles that look closest to your job.
Does iRecrut guarantee a hire or take a commission?
iRecrut does not guarantee a hire, a hiring speed, or the quality or retention of any candidate. It takes no commission on hires. You pay for your plan, and the plan price includes GST.
Does iRecrut work in Gujarati and Hindi?
You can write your job message in Gujarati, Hindi or English. Once you are registered, chat replies use the language of your first message until you change it. Menus, buttons and job cards stay in English. Nine languages can be chosen in all.
How do I pay, and do I get a GST invoice?
Yes. You pay online by UPI, card or net banking, and every payment gets an automatic GST invoice. For example, if your accountant asks for the invoice, open the payment history in Plan & Billing and save it as a PDF. Plans start at ₹199, GST included.
What happens when a candidate uses my career page?
You will not get a separate email or application, so open the matches for your job instead. If you are expecting a particular person, ask them to message you directly as well, for example on your own WhatsApp number.
