WhatsApp job post templates for common Surat roles (English, with Gujarati and Hindi)
A good WhatsApp job post is easy to read on a phone and follows a fixed order: role and area, work, experience, hours, pay range, joining date and how to reply. Leave out long lists of qualities and anything private. Ask for replies in one set format so you can compare quickly. The templates below cover four roles in English and a general post in Gujarati and Hindi.

What a good WhatsApp job post looks like
Candidates are likely to read your post on a phone, among many other messages. They may decide at a glance whether to read on. A post that opens with a long paragraph about your company may lose them before they reach the part that matters.
A good target is about a dozen short lines, each carrying one fact. A longer post is fine in a group if the first lines carry the key facts. Plain text copies cleanly from one phone to another and from one group to the next, so write the post as text and avoid sending it only as a picture.
The order of lines that works
Using the same order every time helps candidates read the post quickly, and you are less likely to forget a detail.
- Line 1: "Hiring:" followed by the role and the city, for example "Hiring: Store Staff in Surat".
- Line 2: your company or shop name.
- Line 3: the area, such as Adajan, Varachha or Sachin, so people can judge the travel.
- Line 4: the work in one short phrase with the main tasks.
- Line 5: the experience you need, in years, and the main skill or machine.
- Line 6: working hours, shift and weekly off.
- Line 7: the pay range as you have decided it, written in your own words and numbers.
- Line 8: the joining date you want.
- Last line: how to reply, with one WhatsApp number and the details to send.
What to leave out of a job post
- Long lists of qualities such as "hard working, honest, smart". These are common in job posts and tell the reader nothing about the job.
- Your home address or personal number. Use the area and one business WhatsApp number.
- Anything that has nothing to do with doing the work. Keep the requirements about skills, experience, hours and place.
- Requests for documents, identity papers or bank details. Ask for these only after you have decided to hire, and only what you need.
- Any fee from the candidate. Asking candidates to pay makes a post look like a scam, so avoid it.
- Promises you cannot keep, such as a fixed raise or a permanent post before you have seen the person work.
- Capital-letter shouting and many symbols. A calm, clear post is easier to answer.
How to ask for replies
End every post with one clear instruction: send your name, area, experience and expected pay on WhatsApp to one number. A fixed format lets you compare replies at a glance and shows you which candidates follow instructions.
Ask people to message first. You can call the shortlisted ones afterwards. Candidates may reply at odd hours, so say when you will answer, for example "We reply to shortlisted candidates within two days". Only promise what you will do.
How to share a job post in WhatsApp groups responsibly
Groups can suit shop, workshop and office roles, but they belong to other people. A few habits help your post stay welcome.
- Read the group rules first and post only where job posts are allowed.
- Post once and wait for replies. Repeating the same post every day annoys members, and group admins may remove the post or the sender.
- Do not add people to a group, or send the same message to many strangers, without their agreement.
- Keep the post to the facts, with no pressure and no spam-style forwarding language.
- When the role is filled, tell the group and remove the post if you can.
- Keep candidate details private, and avoid forwarding a candidate number or CV to other groups.
How to handle the replies
Replies may arrive in a rush in the first hours and then slow down. A simple routine helps good candidates avoid waiting.
- Save one short acknowledgement message, such as "Thank you for your interest. We will contact shortlisted candidates." Send it to everyone who replies.
- Keep a simple list, on paper or in a sheet, with name, area, experience, expected pay and a note.
- Shortlist a handful and hold a short call with each. Test the skill before you decide.
- Send a polite message to people you will not take forward. It costs a minute and keeps your name respected.
- Take down the post or mark it filled once the new person has actually joined.
Using these templates with iRecrut
You can paste any template into your own WhatsApp groups. You can also send a filled template as plain text to the iRecrut WhatsApp assistant. This works for employers who registered through the assistant by sending "Start hiring now" and who have an active plan with job posts left. Fill in every blank and delete the lines you do not need, because blanks left as "____" may confuse the assistant.
The assistant reads your text and picks out the job title, location, experience, skills and pay. It then writes its own job description with your text as a starting point and shows you a draft card in English with Post it and Change buttons. The wording on the card may differ from your template, so read it before you tap Post it. The How it works page explains the full process from posting to matches.
Keep the language limit in mind. Once you are registered, the assistant's free-text chat replies follow your language (type 'language' to change it), but menus, buttons and job cards stay in English. The Gujarati and Hindi templates on this page are therefore mainly for your own groups and notice boards. iRecrut does not guarantee how many replies you get, so keep using your own groups as well.
Gujarati and Hindi templates for each role
This page gives English templates for four roles and one general post in Gujarati and Hindi. Each iRecrut role page for sales executives, machine operators, store and showroom staff, office assistants and accountants has its own role-specific Gujarati and Hindi templates. If your candidates read Gujarati or Hindi more easily than English, start from the role page and then adjust the blanks for your own business.
Before you share a Gujarati or Hindi post, ask one person from your team who reads that language to check it. Small changes in words, such as the name of a machine or a local term for a task, can make the post clearer to the people you want.

Common questions
How long should a WhatsApp job post be?
About a dozen short lines is easy to read on a phone. A longer post is fine in a group if the first lines carry the key facts. Each line should carry one fact: the role, area, work, experience, hours, pay range, joining date and how to reply.
Should I write the job post in Gujarati, Hindi or English?
Write it in the language your candidates read most easily. For shop, workshop and machine roles that may be Gujarati or Hindi, and for office or accounts roles English may suit. You can post two versions in the same group, and each role page has Gujarati and Hindi templates for that role.
Should I put the salary in the job post?
Yes, put your pay range in the post. It saves time for both sides because people who cannot accept it may not reply. The templates here have a blank so that you fill in your own range.
Can I send these templates to the iRecrut assistant?
Yes, as plain text, after you fill in the blanks and delete unused lines. This works for employers registered through the WhatsApp assistant who have an active plan with job posts left. The assistant reads your message and writes its own job description, so the draft card may be worded differently. Read it, then tap Post it or Change. Once you are registered, the assistant's free-text chat replies follow your language, but the draft job card stays in English.
Does iRecrut guarantee replies to my job post?
No. iRecrut matches your job to candidate profiles and helps you contact them, but it does not guarantee a number of replies, the quality of candidates or a hire. Automatic WhatsApp messages may not reach everyone.
Should I send my job post as text or as a picture?
Plain text is easier to copy and forward from one phone or group to another. You may add a picture such as a poster, but keep the facts in the text too, so nobody has to open an image to find the area, the hours or the pay range.
How often can I repost the same job in a group?
Share it once and wait for replies, because the same post every day can irritate members and may get removed. If the role is still open after some days, update the post with something new, such as a fresh joining date, before you share it again.
